Chuck,
My V berth hatch started to leak about three years ago. I ordered the replacement gasket from Bomar, removed the old, careful to clean the surface well, the gasket material is self adhesive and I carefully cut it to surround the hatch opening. To be safe I caulked all joints with a clear marine caulk that was flexible. I have not had a drop of water since. I still have a lot of the gasket material left because they probably send enough to do two hatches. Easy job, just take your time.

Subject: [C320-list] Bomar Hatch Gasket
On a recent Lake Michigan crossing, I got a lot of water in the V berth. One corner of the gasket seems to have pulled away from the extrusion in the bomar hatch. Does anyone have any experience with replacing or resealing the gaskets? I couldn't find anything in the 320 web site. I tried to reseal with 3M 4000, but that did not work. I don't get leaks from rain or when washing down the boat, but there were waves over the bow on this trip.
