Hi David,

The water heater in most C320 is the Seaward.

The best way to look at this problem is to remove the
cabinet and drowers from unde rthe sink.
Once that is done, turn on the water pressure,
turn on the heater and watch for leaks to see where
it is coming from if any. There are a number of places
that a leak can develop. Sometimes the leak does not
happen until the water temp come up.

Good luck.

Subject: [C320-list] Potential Leaking Water Heater

Hi ,

Does anyone know the manufacturer and type of water heater in a 2008
Catalina?

Hull No. 1162.

I have had a water leak (going into the bilge in the vessel since new and
now think it may be coming from the water heater.

Would like  to ask the manufacturer how to pressure test it.

Thanks David. Hull# 1162.
