If you are in a saltwater or brackish environment, the odds are very
good that you have corrosion on the instrument terminals and buss bar
in the pod...any troublshooting of the insturments in the pod without
a thorough clening of the connections is not a good use of your time.

After cleaning the connections, I recommend using a conductive grease.
A good electrically conductive grease will keep metals in electrical
connections free from rust and corrosion. NO-OX-ID "A-SPECIAL" is one
such electrical contact grease for new electrical installations and
maintenance.

I replaced the raw water pump last year and she is discharging plenty of water through the exhaust. Also, the alarm is not sounding like it did when the pump went out. Is it possible I have a defective gauge? If so, any suggestions for checking and or fixing it?
