[C320-list] SPEEDO

I doubt there's anything that will keep critters/growth off of the paddle.
We have the same problem in the Chesapeake.  What we do is pull the speedo
out and put the plug in when we're done sailing.  There's a flapper valve
that keeps the flow of the outside water down.  It takes a couple of tries
to get proficient, but works great.

Hi

Anyone out there having or has had problems with the paddle for the Speedo
under the hull?

 

Mine only takes a week of Non Use and it won't spin because the little water
bugs and weed make a home in there.

 

Is there something potent that will keep them from making it their home?
