That's an interesting place to store it also. When I first got the boat, I
added a single board shelf at the very bottom, aprox. level with the bottom
of the access doors to keep stuff from all piling up on each other. I also
added little LED lights in there...
I could have added a full shelf above the Starboard side door in this
storage area so that the lift up panel under the starboard side vberth
cushion could become its own compartment but didn't even think of that until
you mentioned this area.

Jeff,
For teak plywood, try Boulter Plywood (www.boulterplywood.com).
For tool storage, I use the Nantucket Diddy bag (www.nantucketbagg.com).
The bag holds a whole tool box in 30+ pockets.  It can unzip to lay flat or
zip into a nice round cylinder that I stores upright.  I store mine in the
Stb locker under the V-berth.

Hello,

Any woodworkers in the New England area have suggestions for where to buy
nice quality Teak Plywood in half sheet sizes?

I'm considering the replacement of my Nav station top since the formica is
not looking so good these days.  Also, since I have the Nav station removed
from the boat, I'm installing some nice builtin dividers and possibly a
shallow small tool drawer for the frequently used things like
screwdrivers/pliers/cutters etc.

Where and how do people store tools and stuff on their boat?  We've always
kept them in the port cockpit locker, but it's such a pain to access them
there.
