[C320-list] Road Diesel vs Marine Diesel

I have two engine rpms I run between; 2400 and 3000. 2400 garners me
similar results to yours, with the best fuel efficiency. Regarding
going with the tide, we've reached 10-12 knots SOG (per GPS) while
running at 3000 rpm. GPS is the best indicator of true SOG. Any
knotmeter employing a 'paddle wheel' sensor (even a clean one spinning
freely) to me is bogus as it's indicating speed through the water
rather than true SOG. Against the tide will show a higher than true
SOG. With the tide will show a lower than true SOG. Not worth
cleaning the paddle wheel sensor.
