[C320-list] spin halyard crane

Are the cranes, that are bending, the flat plate style or the round rod loop
style?  I got the idea somewhere that they were flat plate, about 5/16
thick.   Looking on the Rig-Rite site most of theirs seem to the the rod
loop style.  Seems like a 3/8" or 1/2" rod loop would stand up to the loads
reasonably well.  Appreciate the benefit of your experience.   Pat, 801
