[C320-list] Struts for Companionway Steps and cockpit port locker

Peter-Let us know if you can find struts and a design that works for this 
application.  I still would like installing struts for the ladder.

Also, has anyone found a strut that works for the port locker in the 
cockpit.  My Catalina dealer also sells Sabres and when touring some of the 
larger ones, struts abound and they are such a nice touch to keep from 
getting banged in the head or seriously injuring hands or fingers when 
dealing with lockers tops or heavy covers.
