I replaced my 2 4D batteries over a year ago with 4 golf carts. I also
have the watering system attached. I could not be happier with my decision
to go with the golf carts. The watering system makes the battery
maintenance procedure very civilized. Twice a month I simply take a jug of distilled
water down into the boat and squeeze on a little ball type hand pump that
is connected to a tube that is connected to all 4 of the golf cart
batteries. That's it! No muss, no fuss and bonus points - I have 500 amp hours of
power stored in my golf cart batteries. I also have a starting battery
connected to the same watering system and all five batteries get serviced at
the same time. It takes 5 minutes to service all five batteries.

When (a number of years from now) it is time to replace my golf cart
batteries, I won't have to break my back lugging 135 pound batteries out of my
boat as the golf cart batteries are the same size and weigh of a car
battery.

The 5 batteries(one start and 4 golf cart) all fit in the same space that
the start and 2 4D batteries once occupied.

In the year that I have had my golf cart batteries, there has been not one
single ounce of spillage of any battery fluid. The tops of the batteries
are as clean as the day they were installed and I haven't touched them.
The system is perfect, simply perfect. A total no brainer.

While battery watering systems abound for gp 24-27 and golf cart batteries,
there are few for 4D/8D wet cells. Has anyone had experience with the
AquaProRBattery Watering System? Or, any other for that matter.

The magic is in the replacement caps. They are not a simple affair, hence,
the cost of $78/battery.
