I have one on my boat ant it works fine.  I did not notice any loss on vhf send or receive.

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on using a VHF/FM splitter for
using the VHF antenna as an FM antenna? Shakespeare makes one that claims to
completely isolate the two devices and not interfere with the VHF in any
way-being the VHF is involved, I want to make sure this is the case.Any
feedback would be appreciated.
