We too had the same prob within the first year.  Catalina found a new one and replaaced it.

 I had the same experience. It turned out that Seaward had one or two of the microwaves left in stock. I bought one for $80 shipped a year or two ago.  I also bought a small $40 microwave from Target that almost fits. I kept it for parts because some of the components are the same ones in my microwave.  If you have an appliance repair shop nearby, you might take it to them . I did that hear but they wouldn't work on it since no-one made parts any longer.  As an FYI, I have a friend with a 2009- 375. It has the same crappy microwave but Catalina installed knockout panels in the opening so that when theirs shoots craps, they can easily expand the opening to accommodate any oven. Sounds like Catalina was aware of the problem by 2009. It would be interesting to hear how the 2010/11 320s are set up.

I know the cabinet over the ice box is much too small for a microwave
at least on hull #782.   I also have the problem of having the main
output for the AC right there on that wall and I doubt I would be able
to enlarge the hole to make a space big enough for a microwave.  If we
didn't use the oven I might be able to get one there but the oven is
very useful.   I called Catalina who sent me to Seaward who sent me
back to Catalina.  Now I'm waiting on Catalina to call me back.
