We had an interesting experience with the boat insurance quotes.  Our local
Allstate office gave us a very high price on the premium, but our yacht
broker recommended another Allstate agent and she gave us the most
reasonable quote we found.  The take away was - not all insurance agents are
familiar with underwriting a sailboat.   Karl posted the results of last
year's 320 insurance rate survey about a year ago if that's of interest.
