Good point re. the clamps. On annual maintenance item is to check all the
clamps on all hoses: engine, water, holding, etc. Usually, I find a few
that need to be snugged down.

Gaetano:

We had a similar situation. In our case, a 2003 model, we had the black
hoses and they did give off some odor. In the process of changing them, I
discovered that the original (7 year old) hose clamps weren't making a good
enough seal and had been dripping some of the waste water under the tank. I
removed the tank and cleaned under it, and replaced most of the hoses with
the white ones. Most of the problem is gone now. I still have two hoses left
to change this Spring.

Good luck!

related to the hose (tube.) If you are using fresh water flush and your vent
hose is not blocked, then I'm not sure what to say about the cause of the
odor.

years; and, with the fresh water flush, we've not had a problem. Hopefully,
you can find it from a supplier in Europe. Certainly, you can buy it from
WestMarine.com. Try an RV supplier as they may charge less.

Learn about aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. It's the latter that make the
odor. You need to promote the former.
