We used this and found that it helps. You may find that it works better if you start with a deck that has been wet for several hours. Short of rain or a hose to keep it wet, try starting early in the morning with a deck wet from dew.

If you have a pressure washer this does a remarkably easy job of cleaning the nonskid. Then the teflon wax thing makes it clean easier in the future. Stay away from all thru-deck fittings and stick to the nonskid areas and don't over do it is my suggestion.

Dick: I bought a bottle of your recommendation today, and with a little luck it will be applied Monday - tomorrow is remove anti freeze from bilge/pumps, reefer/shower sump and fresh water system as well as apply bottom paint. Have you found that a single use will leave the deck easier to wash down (without another application) for 6 months. That would be great as it is the length of the sail season here.
