"How do I translate the following Hull # YW# 43426-2305127?"

That number is the Yacht World listing number for the vessel. It is not the Hull Identification Number. That posting says it is a 1996 with Yanmar 30 motor. The hull ID number will be in the form CTYCXXXXYZ96
   CTY means Catalina Yacht Company

   C means a model 320
   with "XXXX" being the hull number (each boat has a unique number);
   and "Y" being the actual month of manufacture (A=Jan, B=Feb, etc.)
   and "Z" being the year of manufacture (for this boat, either a "5" meaning 1995 or a "6" meaning 1996)

The boat may be a "1996" model year boat, but manufactured in late 1995. This is very common.

There are four other C320s in the same marina... three of which are active members of the C320 International Association! So you will be in good company there... ask around for their thoughts on that boat.

When I acquired mine, they listed it as a "1997", but it was actually a 1998. So its worth checking the Hull Number to know what you are getting.
