I got a 155% genny and loose footed tape drive pentax main last year from
Doyle of Detroit. Even though I live in western LI sound.
Can you get better sails? Absolutely I chose these because here were my main
factors:
1. Price
2. Club race sails I could crusie with
3. Experience with 320 race sails
Doyle detroit has an insane deal every year around this time its a 1/3 off
and there is a decent size fleet of 320's there. No one in my area had much
experience with my boat because there a lot of pure race boats in my area.
Also I didnt have to pay sales tax and shipping was only $50 from Detroit to
NY.
How have they performed?
Pretty well this year boat points well is much faster down wind. The shape
was amazing and trimming was a breeze,
How did I do with them this year?
Ok but that was for lack of good crew :)
If you have any questions feel free to email me.
