[C320-list] folding prop

Hi Diane,

We just finished our first season with the VarioProfile Prop and
absolutely love it. Going in reverse is no longer a suggestion (as it
was with the fixed, 2 blade prop). We just motored to St. Joe this week
and did 6.6kts at 2800 RPM ... It is 16" with different pitches for
forward and reverse.

The dealer is based in Maine and he is currently at the Annapolis show.
If you drop him an email (Rick Steadman <rsteadman at epifanes.com> ) he'll
get right back to you. You should also have your transmission ratio
when contact him. They may have some good promotions since we are at
the end of the season.

I will also add that this prop is a breeze to install. We used the prop
puller from the tool loaner program and had the old prop off and the new
one on in 45 minutes. You do not have to cut the threads off the shaft
as you do with a prop like the Maxiprop.

You'll find there are other good choices of folding and feathering
props. Our experience with Rick and this prop has been great.

Steve

that is correct.
Another consideration, however, is that the 500 does not have a Chain
gypsy for those who rely on Chain.
