I found the notes from Rick on the prop we got (Our boat has the 3YM30
with a 2.62:1 transmission):
I did make a slight change to the pitch setting based on doing the
computer calculation yesterday. The propeller will be the VP-64 3-blade
16x12x10. That should load the engine correctly for the full 3600 rpm.
The 16x13x11 that is in my Catalina listing would probably hold the rpms
back slightly at max although it will give a bit better speed at normal
operating rpm. You have the option at any time to increase the pitch to
13" if you so desire although I'm sure you'll be pleased with the
performance at 12" forward pitch.
