Gee Warren, good idea - cut away the liner with a Dremel...

Gary, I have an 11 year old grandson visiting for Easter so the thought
occurred to me that his smaller hands might be able to get the nut on.
However, it finally occurred to me to search the list archives on Google for
the topic and lo and behold there is a thread on it. One recommendation is
to cut away the liner section under the stanchion bolts with a Dremel tool
so that a socket wrench has a clear path to it. This I think I will do.
Even if my grandson can get the nut on it will still be a bear to tighten it
down.

FYI, all of our musings on this list are archived on Google to make it
easier to search. Here is the URL for the archive:

Hi Warren,
Not wanting to be a wise guy, but do you know a small young High school girl
that is a gymnast? At my age,63, I am finding my manual dexterity suffering
along with the arthritis in my hands, it is my pride that is a problem. When
I watch the young people play the games and text messages, I think one would
be a potential resource. Just a thought!!
