Hi Irv,

We have a similar behavior on ours this year. I have a feeling it may be related to the top valve gasket which houses the two flappers in the pump that control the wet/dry flushing behavior. I took the pump top off earlier in the season to see if a piece may have broken but all seemed intact. The top valve gasket did seem like it may have been a little distorted so i am planning on giving a new one a try since it is relatively cheap.
