[C320-list] Advice re Sailing in San Francisco

There are all kinds of boat trips that leave from the area where you
will be staying. A trip to Alcatraz Island is highly recommended. You
should make reservations in advance. Also highly recommended if you
like to hike is a trip to Angel Island (a state park) which has
spectacular views all around. If you want to charter a sailboat for a
day, I recommend Modern Sailing in Sausalito. They have several
Catalinas in their fleet (but not a 320). You will be staying in a part
of town that local residents tend to avoid. It is highly recommended
that you eat in restaurants away from that area.

Sorry, I can't be of any help on the golf thing.

If you want any other advice, you can email me directly.

We're going to be staying at The Arganout Hotel at Fisherman's Wharf and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations on boat trips, sailing or other must see things to do there. We gather the Boudin Bakery is really interesting and I like making own bread so I'll enjoy that.
