[C320-list] Water leak

I`ve found that if I fill the tanks until they overflow, I get leaking
through the inspection caps in the top of the tanks.  I run a couple of
litres out into  galley sinks and that solves the problem.  I`ve just put
plumbers thread tape around the tank caps to see if that will stop the
leaks, but haven`t filled the tanks completely yet, having drained them
recently.

Ok, the new (to me) boat arrived today on a trailer, and gets relaunched
tomorrow morning. I topped off the water tanks, and the forward tank must
have been about empty, the stern tank taking very little. Here's the
problem-the bilge keeps slowly filling up, kicking on the bilge pump. I can
see a slow trickle entering the art end if the bilge....any ideas?????
