[C320-list] Lewmar ST winch issue

Lewmar says you should grease and replace paws annually.  In my opinion this is overkill.  When was the last time you rebuilt the winches ?  I did all of mine last season since I had no knowledge of the last time they were done.  They were pretty heavily gunked up, so I'm thinking they hadn't been done in long time.  Very simple to do with shallow plastic pan, old toothbrush and a can of engine degreaser.  Reassembled them with new paws, grease and springs, and it made a great improvement.
