[C320-list] V berth lamps

Went down to the boat last week and noticed that both V berth lamps will not work.  I assume it is the switch contacts, but after turning them off and on several times, they still are not working.  Also checked the bulb and their contacts, did not have a volt meter with me to check for current.  
Will contact cleaner for switches help? 
Anyone had any issue like these, or do you just have to replace them?
