[C320-list] Macerating Head

Requires dissassembly of bowl from macerator. Turn out 4 bolts,
rotate assembly, and retighten snug, but not too tight. Instructions
are in the install manual.

Replace all of the waste hoses that you feel are saturated and might
allow odor into cabin. At a minimum replace the one from macerator to
holding tank/y-fitting.

The new hoses for the flush water hose requires connection to the vent
in the cabinet behind the head. This a bit of a job. Either access
the vent hoses from the back of the hanging locker or use a messenger
line to pull the new hose through the cabinet feed holes. It's
difficult but doable. Reference Jeff's detail posted on the 320 site.

You will need to drill some new holes to mount the head. Take care
not to drill into the hull.

Electrical connection to power source with breaker or fuse.
Instructions in install manual are generic and not specific to the
320.

Flush water can be fresh or raw. Raw water is a quick connection to
the original head thru-hull. You can cut in a tee in the sink drain
if you want to feed fresh water from that source.

If you are not comfortable with plumbing and electrical work, you
might get the local boat handyman to do the install.

Good luck
