[C320-list] Mailing List or Forum

Hi Everybody,

Some great feedback. I wonder if all those people that have said things like
"email is better, email is faster, forums are impersonal, etc", have
actually used a properly setup and run forum. Forums have improved, and with
addons like Tapatalk (which offers immediate and automatic access to forums
from mobile devices), it has made forums as quick and easy as the email
list, with the all the added advantages that a central system offers.

A forum and email system offer the same level of information, and the tone
of the discussion is dependent on the members. 

The C36/375 associations forum use has grown since they installed the
Tapatalk, with the email discussion system slowly reducing.
And like the C320 association (there are no more boats being built), the C36
association is growing and I believe the improved information delivery
system the forum offers is part of the reason.

I am not advocating change for changes sake. I suggest that before people
make a comment on what they prefer, they at least look at the two
alternatives (and not base their opinion on an older forum).
