[C320-list] Main Halyard wear

I just replaced my main halyard with the 115 feet that this group and specs
recommended. Lots left over. BUT I put a good bowline knot instead of a
splice. So, every year I plan to cut off 10 to 12 inches from the sail end
of he line and make a new knot. That way it won't get too worn out by the
cleat.
By the way, this group gave me the good advice to sew the new line to the
old when replacing it. Worked like a charm. I may just put the old one back
on for the winter to reduce weathering of the new one.
