If you are seriously interested in a 320, spend some time reading the old
posts and the 320 international site. There is a lot of this type of info
that has been posted over time. I do not remember anyone commenting on
rusted chainplates, but there is an article on bedding chain plates that
would help you understand what is involved.

Faults - Microwaves are difficult to replace. Some repair and others
modify the cabinet. Battery charger is suspect and usually replaced.
Roller furler often needs rebuild due to no flush holes. Upgrade parts are
reported available. Head odors are reported if waste is allowed to sit in
hoses. Fix is to replace with high end hose and use fresh water for
flushing. Original toilets likely need to be replaced. A new jabsco on
sale is recommended by some while a Raritan upgrade might be appropriate if
you plan to keep the boat over 5 years. Engine raw water pumps are a bit
pricy but can be repaired if you are handy. Most pop for a new one and go
sailing. The Wheel chain and cable assembly should be checked. They are
not fragile, but do need to be replaced as they wear. The Autopilots seem
to need replacement as will other electronics that are over 14 years of
age,

But the worst fault is you will not want to get rid of it if you do buy it.
