[C320-list] salon table

Definitely a problem.  We`ve only had ours down twice in three year, but we
are fairly unsociable.   
We sit in the middle of the table and gently rock/ bump and it will slowly
go down.
The post under the table is telescopic.
If you are too rough with it the screws under will pull out.
Raising it is basically opposite.

we just bought hull #948 in October.  NOW, we need to have salon table  
DOWN to sleep extra people this weekend..  problem??  the post will  not
pull 
UP and out !  WE totally unscrewed the side screw for  base...  any ideas??
 
how does the table sit down?  just lays on TOP of post & wooden  pieces on 
side?
 
HELP!  I need the berth!!  thanks
