Diane,
 
The table is spring loaded. Just loosen the big nut
and put all your weight on the middle of the table.
It should slide down and then put your extra
cushion on the table -- sweet dreams.

Hey, fellow 320's,

we just bought hull #948 in October.  NOW, we need to have salon table  
DOWN to sleep extra people this weekend..  problem??  the post will  not pull 
UP and out !  WE totally unscrewed the side screw for  base...  any ideas??

how does the table sit down?  just lays on TOP of post & wooden  pieces on 
side?

HELP!  I need the berth!!  thanks
