Brad

A few years back I had the same type of issue.

Turned out that the diaphragm in the pump head wore out and had to be replaced.

Not sure which make or model you may have because Catalina used different ones over the years but most rebuild kits are available at West Marine and Defender.

This is an easy job hardest part for me was removing the pump from under the galley sink. this is about a two maybe 3 beer job.

Subject: [C320-list] Two commissioning issues/items

Hey everyone,
Putting Independence back together for the season and have two items.
Steering cable lubrication - Past posts said "30W oil on the wire rope", please
onfirm.....
Water system
For some reason this year I can't get the water pump to pull water from either
ank. It will start up, I get initial pressure and then it drops to a trickle.
I did clean out the mesh, and there was some debris. But still having the issue.
hen it runs it sounds like its going to "catch" but never does..... I am also
nly pulling from one tank at a time.
Any ideas? Do I need to prime and what would be the process for such an action.
)

Thanks so much for any all help!!!!
