[C320-list] Two commissioning issues/items

If the pump has been run dry, I sometimes have to prime it to fix this. I
have done this by taking the hose off the filter and dipping it in a cup of
water that I hold higher than the pump.

Happy Sailing!

Subject: [C320-list] Two commissioning issues/items

Hey everyone,

Putting Independence back together for the season and have two items.

Steering cable lubrication - Past posts said "30W oil on the wire rope",
please confirm.....

Water system

For some reason this year I can't get the water pump to pull water from
either tank. It will start up, I get initial pressure and then it drops to
a trickle.

I did clean out the mesh, and there was some debris. But still having the
issue. When it runs it sounds like its going to "catch" but never
does..... I am also only pulling from one tank at a time.

Any ideas? Do I need to prime and what would be the process for such an
action. :)

Thanks so much for any all help!!!!
