Hi Sam,

Not hard. If you are handy at all you can handle it.
You need to decide if you want to change out
the hoses that go to the motor. Mine looked to be
in good shape and thought it would be a waste of
money to replace them now.

Disconnect your hot and cold water, disconnect the
electrical, take out your sink drain, take out a view
wire holders with screws, take out two screws that
hold the heater in place, pull the heater out and then
disconnect the hoses that go to the motor. Then put
it all back. I also put new hose clamps on everything.

So basically, it's just disconnect and reconnect.

I have a small leak under the water heater. How easy is it to replace? Thanks,  Mariah #585. Sam
