[C320-list] portable air conditioners

I once had a window unit by GE, 11,000 BTU I think. Ran with 110, fit nicely in
the companion way and kept the boat down to 60 degrees at night if I wanted it to.
Just pulled some towels down from the top to the unit. That was on an O'Day 35.

Anyone have experience with a portable air conditioner other than CruiseAir? One of our neighbors has one of these units and they are quite loud. Don't want to subject my neighbors to the same. I had a dock mate once who had a Beneteau 331 and he picked up a unit from Lowe's or Home Depot and was happy with the outcome. Any ideas would be appreciated.
