[C320-list] Ignition Key Problem

My beer stays cold, as the engine is on a different circuit to the engine.
Are you sure you need the ignition on to power up the fridge circuit?
So with a keyless start, somebody would still have to break into the cabin,
and turn on the engine power under the chart table. If you were really
worried you could wire in a separate hidden switch.

Some engines have glow plugs some don't. As I understand it, the newer
engines have higher compression ratios making the use of glow plugs
optional. Still, the idea of a keyless start switch is interesting.
However, for those preferring to leave the fridge on to keep the beer cold,
it would mean anyone could start the engine without a key. Hummmm...

On my boat the third detent is springloaded off and it turns on my
glowplugs.

Why not a 2 stage switch instead of a 3 stage? On my boat there is a
starter button on the pod that you push to start after turning on the key
two positions. The third position is a spring action starter switch , not
needed. This third position is like that on a car which you need to start
the engine.
