[C320-list] Another fuel tank bites the dust

I think the breakdown of your tank liners might have been the interaction of the alcohol the govt. has decided to bless us with. I've heard stories of alcohol laden gasoline breaking down "Kreem" to sludge and gumming everything up, thats why I've used Por 15, it was designed for the military and is rated for all fuels including gas, diesel, straight alcohol, and even the hybrid junk the govt. tells us is gasoline.

Ive had two gas tanks in 1960 vintage cars coated without problems until about 10 years after the coating. Then both began to loosen and plug fuel filters and fuel pumps. Nothing lasts forever I guess. Also not sure what effect diesel would have on coatings like Por 15.

I've used "Por-15" internal tank sealer in motorcycles and it works great. I'm considering doing this to my tank before installing the air conditioning after reading all this.
