[C320-list] Battery Charger Temperature Sensor

My 4 year old Xantrex 20 amp that replace the OEM ProMariner has the ability to hook up a temperature sensor. On my model you only get one sensor, so you have to pick a battery to attach the temperature sensor to. If temperature sensing is critical, then half of a 2 battery bank is not measured. Maybe the new Xantrex models allow more than one battery to be monitored for temperature. The two batteries on hull my 894 (2002) sit in the cabin on the starboard side under a seat next to the table, so there are no engine room issues where temperatures may get way above ambient. In eleven seasons of 24/7 charger hook up at the slip I have never noticed the batteries at any temperature above ambient even when going through an equalizing cycle. There are fused at each battery.
