[C320-list] Set of Hatch Boards for Sale

FWIW a tip from an old wood butcher...no need to use anything finer
than 220 on bare wood. Finer papers merely clog the pores of the and
prevent finishes from penetrating properly.

I just did the outside of my hatch boards, they were rough and
greying. I started sanding with 80 grit, then 120,180,220 and 320, I
then put WM teak oil on them. They are beautiful! Now the only problem
is I have to sand off the inside which is factory finished (I think)
but looks pretty nasty compared to the outside.

Bruce.

I do know one C320 owner that recently sanded and stained his tired old
washboards - they look wonderful now. The only problem, is it makes the
neighbouring C320's washboards look like they need some work (hint, hint).

Hi Len,

This was mentioned before, but I highly recommend keeping the hatch boards
with your boat.  They are not for when you are out day sailing.
They are for when you are not on your boat.  They are much sturdier than the
Zarcor doors.

fit your 320.
