Rick,

Yes, after getting it all sorted I did mount a stainless screen dome over
the shower sump hole to reduce further problems.  The cool box  /
refrigerator wasn't connected to the shower sump hose on my boat, it just
drains to the sump.  As I only keep dry stores on the cool box this isn't an
issue for me.
