The water tanks drain from fore to aft which means the forward tank empties
first.  One of the best upgrades (of many) we did to Sea Shadow was a tank
monitoring system.  I believe that my article on the install is still out on
the website.  We monitor both tanks plus the holding tank.  Advantages: we
leave both tank valves open all the time, refilling only when the aft tank
approaches empty, and we never have to worry about the holding tank getting
too full and backing up.

time or are there valves to isolate each one ?
