Thanks Jeff and all good info. I'm due for new ones too.  Previous owner dropped in PowerStrides on 07' and see a weak cell in one plus needing both to start. Tried a load test 6mo ago and seemed ok just not sure i did it right... :(   Been also reading article on cleaning up the plates (slow over charging...) 

But those prices maybe too good pass up.

I called Jerry's recommendation, Power Stride Battery in Corona (Mike Rogers retired) I spoke with Don.  They have Group 4d, maintenance free (sealed) batteries for $199, and the maintenance required version for $150.  He said his buyer accidentally bought a pallet maintenance free, which they don't sell a lot of, and now stuck with a 6-month or more supply.  Their loss is my gain.  For $50 more, I might as well go with the maintenance free.  But, I'm not going up there until next week, so all of you in So Cal, don't run up there and take my two batteries.
