[C320-list] engine stall

I have a 1994 Perkins M30 with 975 engine hours. Ive replaced both primary and secondary fuel filters. Engine continues to stall but will immediately restart and run for a while (>30 min). sometimes it takes three or four attempts before it will keep running but once it does it runs a while. Im wondering if I may have a failing fuel lift pump. I believe it is the original 1994 pump. Would appreciate any input/advice.
