I hang the seat on my swim ladder and secure it with a sail tie. This allows me to stand and lean on the seat. I can see over the top of the boat. Tom

t hangs nicely from the Life Lines when you are anchored or at the dock.
 have only done that a few times to facilitate the use of the swim
latform when kyaking.
