Just had my 2004 A-B unit recharged. Seems OK for now. If you want to do it yourself check out Kollman-marine.com. He (RICHARD) has some documentation that may help you. I sent him my electronic module for check out before I spent the bucks for a refer tech. I used a refer tech, twice, to recharge as I was not comfortable doing it myself. The first tech was worthless. The stuff you get at Pep Boys for autos seemed suspect to me as the refrigerant contains stop leak and the gauges look cheap. Better to spend a few $ for a tech then to blow the seals on the compressor due my stupidity in misunderstanding the directions. I did some serious research thinking I may have to buy a new unit. Will not go with an A-B unit (Dometic) when this unit goes. IMHO.
