If no one responds, perhaps Dan Gerhardt will be interested and will pay
something plus shipping.  Last August I posted the message below to let
owners know that he can often fix these out-of-warranty autopilots.

I realize we shouldn't use this list for hyping vendors, so consider this
more of a help for owners of older autopilots and instruments that Raymarine
will no longer repair.  Dan Gerhardt [C250 at mydurango.net] a retired
geologist in Durango, CO, may be able to repair your Raymarine / Autohelm /
Raytheon autopilot.  He also does some work on the ST50s, but they are
usually just as cheep to buy used as repair.  If he can't repair it, he may
offer to buy it for parts.

I have a non-functional ST4000 MK1 drive wheel that doesn't work because
two of the bearing wheels broke off.   I attempted repair but it kept
binding up.   So I've replaced it with a MK2 wheel which by the way was a
major pain.   But is there any value in the motor and the drive assembly
and new belt to anyone.   If you have interest let me know off list and we
can work something out.
