Thanks for the input. I got back to the slip today so I was able to proceed.
The AC measures approximately 119v throughout - including at the charger. I
called Xantrex and they concluded that it most likely is a failed charger.
I'm out of the warranty (purchased Jan. 2010) but they offered to sell me a
40amp charger for $315 plus shipping under their "replacement plan." 

I've read mixed reviews on Xantrex so I'm unsure if I want to go with them
again. It still charges but not consistently. Any thoughts?
