You might also look on line at Z SPARS, I think that Charleston bought them out but I had their system on a Beneteau and the on-line manual told you about everything you need to know.

I have a 2004 and it has a Charleston Spar furler.  I think they have an online 
manual.

I didn't find any documents about the furling mainsail when I purchased my
boat.  Does anyone have any documentation on the 2002 furling mainsail they
