I have had superb results going on ten years now. The 'transpalnt' was
one of my first upgrades because of the usual complaints with noise
and run-on wiht the OEM pump and to avoid insalling an accumulator
tank th cure them. Ours has great pressure (4.6 gpm), is much queiter,
and acts more like a city tap than a pressure pump system.

I have only one suggestion for you, but it is sort of like throwing
salt over your shoulder...did you remove the the screens from the
faucets and then try the pump without them?

They are not only screens, but also flow limiters installed to reduce
water consumption. I have two sets. One for use and the other that
gets soaked to dissolve calcium, salt and rust deposits that further
restrict flow and will never rinse out. When they are restricted, the
system acts like the pump is failing.

The pump did not speed up when I opened another faucet, just reduced the flow to a trickle. I tried everything I could think of including talking to Jabsco tech support. The pump did speed up when I turned off the water supply, but as soon as I opened the valve it would run slow again.
