Restriction in the exhaust system, possibly at the exhaust elbow?

Hi 

My 320 MK2 - hull 1150 recently began putting out a light grey smoke and
also belching out black smoke when under load/in gear over 2000 revs.

Take it out of gear and rev it up and all fine.

Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions as to what could be causing this?
Motor only has 400 hours on it (2008 delivery so real new for a diesel) 

 

At one point I ran it under load for about 45 minutes and suddenly there was
this big puff of black smoke the revs increased by about 200 RPM and it was
fine for about a month.

Now it has reoccurred. 

 

Have checked oil, coolant etc and have added some antifungal and injector
cleaner additive.

No better.

Your ideas welcome as to how to fix or what it may be
