[C320-list] You guys are killing me!

The rigger at West Marine on Hillsmere in Annapolis made a new set of
lifelines last winter for Sea Shadow for $386, using only the old pelican
hooks - everything else was new. No plastic covering!

Seems like a pretty expensive alternative to just replacing the lines on a
C320. Why don't you post the cost of each option so others can be guided by
your research. It would probably be clearest to present the cost as a "per
foot" of lifeline basis eg. cost of C355 divided by number of feet of life
line vs. cost of lifelines alone on a C320 divided by the number of feet of
lifeline.

If you buy a C355, they already have Stainless Lifelines.

:) I might be trying that route to getting Stainless Lifelines. :)

We made the switch and wouldn't go back. Racing rules require them. The
stainless are a higher grade than the vinyl covered so make sure you get 316
stainless
